Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure

A leading Tier 2 Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team, delivering high-value infrastructure projects across the Yorkshire region.

With a strong pipeline of secured work and an excellent reputation in the industry, this is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong leader to drive the successful delivery of projects in sectors such as Highways, Utilities, Power & Energy, and General Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the planning and delivery of civil engineering projects valued £10m+

* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery

* Oversee project programme, budget control, risk management, and resource allocation

* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

* Provide technical guidance, lead meetings, and report progress to senior leadership

* Promote collaboration and performance across the delivery teams

Candidate Requirements:

* Strong technical background in civil engineering, ideally having progressed from an engineering role

* Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects (£10m+ in value)

* HNC or Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline

* Valid CSCS (Managerial), SMSTS, and First Aid certifications

* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

* Experience in sectors such as highways, utilities, or energy is highly desirable
