Job Description

People Dynamix Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to provide temporary cover within a secondary school in the Wallasey area of Wirral.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students build confidence in numeracy and develop strong problem-solving skills. This role requires a teacher who can maintain high standards in the classroom and create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons up to GCSE level

  • Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management

  • Support students in developing key mathematical skills and exam preparation

  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback where required

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school

  • Excellent behaviour management skills

  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
