Newbury College is looking for an Apprenticeship/Work-Based Learning Co-Ordinator to join the Apprentice & Business team. Acting as lead IQA the post holder will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality provision across our range of qualifications. Having a robust knowledge of apprenticeship standards and EPA requirements you will have a thorough understanding of IQA and EQA processes as well as learner needs and support requirements. You will support development coaches & assessors via one-to-one coaching, standardisation as well as group sessions and will help develop our curriculum and learning resources to provide the best possible journey to our learners
Other responsibilities include; Allocating caseloads of Learners, helping ensure learners achieve their qualifications in a timely manner and completing certificate claims. The successful candidate will be passionate about staying current, pushing delivery to the highest standards through rigorous, well planned assessments of portfolio evidence and be a champion for our e-portfolio system.
This is a part-time role and is based on the successful candidate working 24 hours over 3-5 days, with an FTE salary of £25,350 FTE.
You must have:
- An assessor qualification (A1/D32&D33)
- An internal verifier qualification (V1/D34)
- Experience of working as an IQA/IV and supervising a caseload of Assessors
- Commercial experience working with a range of customers/employers
