About the Role: As our Permanent Teacher of Economics (A-Level Specialist) within the Business Department, you will play a key role in guiding our Sixth Form students towards a sophisticated understanding of economic principles and global issues. You will deliver engaging and in-depth lessons at A-Level, fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to apply economic models to real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated Economics lessons primarily at A-Level.

* Cultivate a positive and intellectually stimulating learning environment for advanced Economics students within the Business Department.

* Develop and share high-quality teaching resources and contribute to the A-Level Economics curriculum within the Business Department.

* Track student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and support UCAS applications for Economics-related courses.

* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Business Department and the wider school community.

* Potentially contribute to extracurricular activities within the Business Department that promote an interest in economics and current affairs at a higher level.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
