Owen Daniels are supporting a leading advanced manufacturing business in Coventry is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their growing team. Operating within the aerospace and defence sectors, the company has recently secured several multi-million-pound contracts, creating exciting opportunities for talented engineers looking to develop their careers within a high-growth environment.

The RoleAs Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting new and existing programmes, ensuring robust quality planning and compliance throughout the product lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure processes meet the highest industry standards.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a. plus benefits.

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading and supporting PPAP submissions with customers and suppliers
Driving APQP activities across new and existing programmes
Supporting NPI projects from concept through to production launch
Managing quality documentation including control plans, PFMEA and process flows
Investigating and resolving quality issues using structured problem-solving tools
Supporting internal and external audits where required
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvementThe CandidateWe are looking for a proactive Quality Engineer with experience within precision manufacturing, ideally supplying into the aerospace, defence, or highly regulated sectors.

You will ideally have:

Experience with PPAP, APQP and NPI processes
Background in manufacturing or engineering environments
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
A quality or engineering related qualification (desirable)What's On Offer
