We are assisting a Local Authority in the appointment of an experienced Information officer to join their team in Darlington.

In this key role, you'll produce statutory returns, support strategic decision-making through high-quality reports, and help shape how data is used across services. You'll work with a range of departments and external agencies to drive data-informed change and ensure compliance with national standards.

What we are looking for:

3+ years' experience in management information or policy roles.

Excellent Excel and data presentation skills

Strong communicator, able to explain complex data clearly

Knowledge of data protection and performance frameworks

Innovative, analytical and confident working independently

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Rate of Pay: £16-£20 per hour, negotiable DOE.
Contract: length: 10 months.
Expected hours: 37 per week (Monday - Friday)
