Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a HSQE Advisor on a permanent basis based in North East.

Role Summary

Our client is hiring for a HSQE Advisor for its Highways team, in the northeast of England . This position requires a candidate to provide on-site and office-based health, safety, quality, and environmental advice to ensure compliance with standards and to promote a positive HSQE culture. Key responsibilities include risk management, leading incident investigations, and conducting site audits.

Key responsibilities

· Safety and compliance: Provide advice and support to ensure the Highways team meets all health, safety, and environmental standards and client requirements.

· Site presence: Be a visible presence on site to identify unsafe practices and conditions and promote best practices.

· Incident management: Lead and support investigations into incidents, ensuring lessons learned are shared and implemented.

· Culture and training: Actively promote a positive HSQE culture and deliver toolbox talks and awareness sessions to the workforce.

· Documentation: Assist with reviewing documents like CDM (Construction, Design and Management) regulations.

Requirements

Essential: NEBOSH certification and a valid driving licence are essential for this role.

Desirable: CSCS and EUSR are desirable qualifications.
