The Best Connection are recruiting for an EHS & Training Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Aintree.
The role includes the following:
- Act as the point of contact for environmental, health and safety compliance, ensuring all legal and regulatory obligations are met
- Develop, update and roll out environmental, health and safety policies, procedures, and training materials to ensure a safe and complaint workplace
- Identify potential hazards through regular site inspections and ensure all risk assessments are current and aligned with regulatory standards
- Manage the reporting and investigation of incidents, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are effectively implemented
- Keep comprehensive records of training sessions, inspections, incidents and other safety-related documentation
- Confidently use EHS management systems to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Requirements:
- Solid understanding of EHS regulations, standards and best practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels
- Well-organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
- Analytical thinker with effective problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field
