• Needed for number crunching, look at cost forecasting, taking costs, look at programmes
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• Dealing with subcontractors
• Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
• Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
• Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.

Client requirements:

• Proven experience as Senior QS
• Strong NEC (4) knowledge
• Previously worked for Tier 1 contractor
• Previously worked on relevant project desirable - OHL/substations/utilities/nuclear/water etc
• Experience in live project setting
• Can use initiative and self-starter
