About the Role

MEP Resourcing is working in partnership with a leading main contractor to source a Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical & Electrical) for an exciting apartment scheme in Salford. This short-term contract role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with an M&E background, looking to make a real impact in a key phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

* • Review M&E scopes of work and assist with the placement of outstanding subcontractor orders

* • Agree and finalise subcontract agreements with commercial precision

* • Manage M&E subcontractor relationships throughout the project lifecycle

* • Monitor costs, variations, and ensure compliance with contract terms

* • Provide ongoing commercial support to the site and wider commercial team

Requirements

✅ Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E sectors

✅ Proven track record of managing M&E subcontract packages

✅ Excellent negotiation and cost management skills

✅ Immediate availability preferred
