JOB DESCRIPTION

AK Teaching are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro-active Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner schools. This role would involve supporting a child on a 1:1 basis who has additional needs.

JOB ROLE

Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

* Working with groups of children or working with pupils on a 1-2-1 basis

* Supporting these pupils with the full National Curriculum to all ranges

* Working with children who have additional SEND needs

* Supporting the class teacher across the whole class when required

JOB CANDIDATE

* Ideally be Level 2 TA qualification or above

* Have knowledge or experience working with children with SEN

* Mainly looking for an individual with a caring nature

* Team Teach desirable but not essential
