Tradewind is recruiting a Pastoral Leader (Assistant Head of Year) for a caring and community-focused school in Nottingham. Ideal for those with experience in education, youth work or wellbeing roles.

Start date: September.

About the Role:
Work closely with Heads of Year to support student wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance across a year group. This is a non-teaching but highly student-facing role.

Responsibilities:

Provide support and intervention for students' social, emotional and behavioural needs.

Liaise with staff, families, and external agencies.

Monitor data around attendance, punctuality and conduct.

Promote a safe and inclusive school culture.

What We're Looking For:

Pastoral or education background.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to build strong relationships with students.

Calm, consistent, and proactive approach.
