About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and proactive Supported Housing Worker to join their dedicated team in the Mendip area. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and track referrals from the Local Authority, ensuring timely and effective responses.
Deliver high-quality, off-the-street accommodation services tailored to individual client needs.
Offer accurate advice and empowering support to help clients build independence and stability.
Maintain clear and up-to-date records in line with service standards.
Provide effective housing management to ensure a safe, supportive living environment.

Requirements

A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance (essential for travel between sites).
Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, and occasional weekend cover (typically 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
Proven experience supporting individuals with complex needs or challenging behaviours.
Strong understanding of the causes of homelessness and social exclusion, with a person-centred approach to support
