CNC Turner - Mazatrol Programmer (Days/Nights Available)
£18-£21/hr Days OR OPTION TO DO £22--£27/hr Nights (Depending on Experience)

A well-established and steadily growing precision engineering company in Portsmouth is looking for a fully skilled CNC Turner to join their team. The business operates in low-to-medium volume, high-precision markets and supplies into industries including oil & gas, nuclear, defence, rail, aerospace, and more.

With continued investment in both people and machines, they're offering stable, long-term work on modern CNC turn/mill & lathes with high-end capabilities - including Y-axis and large-diameter capacity up to Ø450mm x 2200mm.

The Role:

Programming, setting & operating Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol and Fanuc (Smooth control preferred)

*

Working from drawings to produce high-spec components in various exotic materials (Inconel, Monel, Titanium, etc.)

*

Day and night shift roles available (days: approx. 6am-3pm Mon-Thurs, Fri 6am-12pm)

*

Supporting prototype and low-batch production for critical industries

*

Willingness to get involved in continuous improvement initiatives is valued

Ideal Candidate:

Experienced CNC Turner confident in Mazatrol or Fanuc programming (Smooth control desirable)

*

Skilled in working to fine tolerances and machining high-grade materials

*

Reliable, efficient, and takes pride in producing quality work
