General Manager | N. Ireland | Food Logistics | £100k

A leading logistics and supply chain provider is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a large-scale operational site in Northern Ireland. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, commercial performance and customer service across a fast-paced distribution environment.

This is a key leadership role within the business, overseeing end-to-end site operations, developing high-performing teams and ensuring the delivery of strategic objectives.

• Lead the overall site operation including warehousing, transport and operational support functions.

• Drive operational performance across service, cost, productivity and safety metrics.

• Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and customer requirements.

• Manage senior operational leaders and build a strong, engaged site leadership team.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, health & safety and operational standards.

• Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service levels.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, efficiency gains and cost optimisation.

• Manage budgets, financial performance and operational KPIs across the site.

• Proven leadership experience in a senior operations or general management role within distribution (food ideally)

• Experience managing large-scale warehousing and transport operations.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen with responsibility for operational budgets and P&L.

• Track record of leading large teams and developing leadership capability within complex environments.

• Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.

• A proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced, operational environments and can drive performance through people.
