Job Description

Gray Engineering, Inc. (GEI), a civil consulting engineering firm in Austin, TX is looking to add an additional Project Manager to our team. Candidates must have a B.S.C.E. and be registered as a Professional Engineer in Texas, or can obtain registration. The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years’ experience with a Civil Consulting Engineering firm working on land development type projects with at least 2 years in a project management role. You will have responsibility for managing all aspects of land development projects including the preparation of plans, schedules, cost estimates, and required submittals to obtain approval by regulatory agencies. You will guide the work of staff engineers and ensure compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards, and provide effective communication with the project team. You will manage client relationships to assure their specific project requirements are met.

Gray Engineering, Inc. has been in Austin, TX for more than 29 years and has a stable client base that includes national home builders, private developers, Municipal Utility Districts, City and County governments, and design-build firms. Our small firm environment allows you to expand on your experience with a variety of project types taking them from concept, to preliminary design, to final construction drawings. We work 9-hour days Monday through Thursday and close the office at noon on Friday.
