Job Title: Estimator - Commercial Painting and Decorating

Salary: up to £60,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience pricing commercial painting and decorating contracts, and ideally, experience pricing intumescent paint.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare accurate and timely estimates for commercial painting and decorating projects.

* Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

* Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labour expenses.

* Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

* Maintain knowledge of current market trends and pricing.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an estimator with experience pricing commercial painting and decorating contracts.

* Experience pricing intumescent paint is a plus.

* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
