Host/Floor Manager

Job Description

ROOH is a progressive Indian restaurant in the heart of SOMA area. ROOH is the first opening by Good Times Restaurants in SF with the goal to present Indian food on the global map in a way that has never been done before. ROOH has become a Michelin Guide recommend and one of the top 100 restaurants in the first year of opening. 

We are looking for a passionate, self motivated Restaurant/Floor Manager. Responsibilities include- 

Managing the Host Stand
Managing the floor 
Wine and Liquor knowledge
Setting up and following the service standards
Coordinate with BOH team
Mentor other staff members
Opening/closing the shift
Work closely with GM to drive business results.

Minimum Requirements:

2-3 years of Restaurant Management experience
Knowledge of San Francisco business trends and competition
Knowledge of Open Table
Solid communication and relationship building skills with members and coworkers
Able and willing to work long hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays based on business requirements and operational needs
Able to efficiently and effectively multi-task, work in a demanding environment and have a high level of attention to detail
Fluent verbal and written English communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

Service centric and creative planner
Successful Mentor and Coach, willing to share knowledge, skills and abilities to develop others

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, etc
