Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of excellent secondary schools in Flintshire seeking Cover Supervisors to join their teams from September 2025. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in supporting students' learning by maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise lessons across a range of subjects using pre-set work

Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment

Manage student behaviour in line with school policies

Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement

Requirements:

Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Ability to engage and motivate pupils in a variety of subjects

Must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) as a Learning Support Worker or willing to register before the start date
