Operations Manager Glasgow City Centre £35,000 - £38,000 My client offers a comprehensive range of services to people from all over the world wishing to set up a company in the UK. This role includes managing Managers and staff across multiple departments. They have a comprehensive range of benefits and rewards (see below) and we work tirelessly in developing employee packages. The Role. We are currently looking for an experienced, talented, hard-working Operations Manager, who knows how to get the best out of staff across multiple departments. We are looking for someone who shares our values and can help us run an efficient operation in our Glasgow Office. You will oversee the day to day running of our Business Centre, as well as being responsible for Human Resources functions, quality assurance across multiple departments, inductions of new staff, training and reporting to the Operations Director and CEO on staff output and quality levels. Main accountabilities Management * Liaise daily with all line managers under your span of control * Liaise daily with Senior Management in London to synchronise reporting across both London and Glasgow offices * Ensure Company policy and General Office rules are abided by at all times, to ensure maximum efficiency from all staff * In charge of stock inventories and ensuring we are fully supplied with what we need to run our business in Glasgow Management * Responsibility for the induction, appraisal and training of staff in the Glasgow Office * Responsibility for staff team building, leadership and quality control * Manage staff issues and staff performance evaluation * Undertake Return to Work meetings with staff absent through sickness * Update Staff Handbook as and when required for any new policies and procedures * Develop the Reception Team to ensure the best possible service is provided to our customers. Administration * Manage and ensure that best practice policies/procedures are developed and implemented to meet all professional and legal standards Commercial * Working with the Director to ensure maximum business efficiency, including maximising income and minimising costs * Lead the provision of all serviced offices, customer services, building management, staff and administration systems/services to support the core operations of the business * Assist the Operations Director and CEO in maximising business performance including the financial performance of the business Skills * Bachelor’s Degree (at least) in a relevant field essential * Substantial management qualifications * An excellent understanding of Office Management best practice, including IT systems * relationships and positive working relationships with colleagues * Highly computer literate including Microsoft office programmes and CRM databases * Working under pressure and to strict deadlines * Have a working knowledge of HR functions and employment law * Have a good knowledge of modern IT systems (both software and hardware) Experience * Able to evidence commercial aptitude * Able to evidence experience of managing a team within a call centre environment * A proven track record of managing and developing multiple teams in an office environment * Can demonstrate experience of reviewing working practices and devising and implementing improvements where necessary * Can evidence extensive experience of developing and maintaining quality assurance/spot-checking procedures across multiple departments * Significant experience of reporting to a Director level position * Has worked in a company used to dealing with high volumes of orders * Has experience of liaising with and co-ordinating line-managers of multiple departments on a daily basis Benefits * 26 days holidays, plus 7 public/bank holidays * Commercial bonus scheme * Annual cost of living salary increase * Paid for Wednesday lunch * Bottled spring water and fruit juices daily * Breakout room with Netflix * Glasgow City Centre location TO APPLY: Please send your CV for immediate consideration By Sending an Application or Applying for a Job, you give consent for your data to processed stored by Get Recruited in accordance with our Cookie Privacy Policy
