Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Location: Wigston, Leicester (Office-Based)

Salary: £35,000 + OTE £55,000+ (Uncapped Bonus)

The Role

As a Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you will provide high-quality, compliant advice to both new and existing clients. You’ll work closely with an experienced Mortgage Support Team, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent client outcomes and maximising business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regulated mortgage and protection advice in line with FCA requirements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding needs and recommending suitable solutions
• Manage your pipeline effectively from initial enquiry through to completion
• Work closely with the in-house support team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of applications
• Stay up to date with mortgage products, lender criteria, and protection solutions
• Generate new business through referrals and proactive follow-ups
• Ensure all documentation and files meet compliance and quality standards
• Deliver an outstanding client experience, fostering long-term relationships

About You

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) – essential
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser
• Strong knowledge of residential, buy-to-let, and protection products
• Proven ability to manage a pipeline and meet targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Commercially aware with a proactive and driven approach
