£12.50- £14.00 depending on experience.

We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Part-Time Caretaker to join a friendly primary school based in Hayes. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unlocking and securing the school premises each morning
• Carrying out daily health and safety checks around the school site
• Undertaking basic maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring classrooms, corridors, and communal areas are safe and tidy
• Setting up rooms and furniture as required
• Managing waste disposal and recycling
• Liaising with the school office regarding any maintenance issues
• Supporting contractors on site when necessary

Requirements:

• Previous caretaking or facilities experience (desirable)
• A good understanding of health and safety within a school environment
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
