Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive mainstream school in Gosport on a temporary long-term basis.

About the Role:

You will be working closely with pupils who require additional support with their learning, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. This may include 1:1 support, small group work, and assisting with classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting)
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate) – desirable but not essential
