Accounts Semi-Senior – Peterborough – Top 10 Firm

Accounts Semi-Senior responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial statements in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards from source documents/records to final accounts for review by the appropriate manager
• Preparing accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions included in the financial statements
• Working on a wide range of accounts including FRS102, FRS102 1A, partnerships and consolidations
• Developing and maintaining good client relations
• Liaising with clients directly or through relevant managers to resolve queries or obtain further information

As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be/have:

• AAT Qualified or studying towards ACCA, or ACA
• Strong practical knowledge/experience of accounts preparation with at least two to three years’ experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong double entry knowledge and skill
• Cloud based accounting systems knowledge – use of Xero and QuickBooks knowledge would be beneficial
• Basic tax knowledge - awareness of how to do tax computations, PAYE, VAT
