T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Surface Mount Operative to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a permanent basis.

Surface Mount Operative Job Details & Benefits;

* Rotating shifts

* Mornings - Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm

* Afternoons - Monday - Thursday 2pm-10:45pm, Friday 2pm-7pm

* £12.00 per hour rising to £13.52 per hour when training is completed

Surface Mount Operative Duties;

* Loading and operating a machine with some programming elements

* Learning all relevant procedures to be competent enough to build a printed circuit board

* Building PCBs in accordance with IPC-610 criteria

* Operate and program solder paste print technologies

* Preparation and labelling

* Working across different areas

* Work in accordance with health and safety regulations

* Relay build issues to production engineers

* Any other duties as reasonably required

Surface Mount Operative Person Specification;

* Strong attention to detail

* Knowledge of Surface Mount Technology

* Confident manner

* Ability to work under pressure and complete varied duties to meet deadlines
