Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Trainee CAD Technician to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to Produce high quality 2D drainage connectivity plans & technical drawings utilising in house Auto CAD system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail & efficiency

In return, we are offering a salary of up to £25,000  P/A, depending on experience, plus working for a well established business, career progression, annual leave, pension, golf days, family days and Christmas parties

This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be  

Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:

Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site survey information to produce accurate connectivity plans
Update and revise existing drawings in line with design changes or client requirements.
Maintain & update “Return to site projects” liaising with scheduler to arrange effective site visits
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to clarify technical requirements and ensure project alignment
Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities within proposed works and reflect these across the plan
Provide support to Mobilisation team through shared inbox & phone system
Provide support to in house remedial & CCTV teams to create digital CCTV drainage plans using CAD
The ideal candidate:

Strong IT skills across Microsoft applications
Understanding and experience of working in a direct customer-focused environment
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and internal teams
Proven ability to prioritise workload, manage deadlines, and deliver accurate work under pressure
