Exciting opportunity for a permanent Sales Advisor to join an innovative, sustainable and eco-friendly packaging business

£22.5k per annum, with commission and annual bonus

Reporting to a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager, you will positively engage with prospects and clients, helping them to realise their goals of  using biodegradable, ethically sourced, user friendly packaging. More about the role and what we need from you

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the Sales and Customer Service functions.

The main responsibilities of the role can be summarised as follows:

Management of the packaging sales process, account management and business growth with existing and new customers.
To provide a first-class customer service to our valued clients all within in a fast-moving B2B environment. You will be involved in all aspects of the business cycle and offer an all-round customer focused approach.
You'll be responsible for the management of sales and relationships with your customer base and you'll develop a long-term relationship with your customers and fully understand their needs and challenges in order to grow business on a profitable basis
Your responsibilities will include protecting and generating increased sales among your customers, resolving any issues that arise. Management of all customer concerns and complaints, including but not limited to recording, investigating and responding to all issues raised by the customer and making decisions in relation to corrective and preventative actions.
You must understand and anticipate customer demands and plan how to meet them - generating additional sales for the company wherever possible as a result.
Co-ordination with internal and external teams and other operational departments to ensure customer expectations are set and achieved.
To respond promptly and positively to all incoming messages from prospects and clients, and to manage all necessary outbound contact with prospects and clients.
To log all new leads and interactions in AirTable and keep company information updated at all times in the relevant systems (FileMakerPro, AirTable, Gmail and other as necessary).
Be organised and able to work through follow up lists and to target dates.
About you

The successful candidate will ideally have:

A good strong understanding of sales with a data-driven and client centric approach.
A friendly and professional disposition with both clients and internal teams.
An outgoing personality, good communication skills (particularly on the phone) and a desire to learn about new products and improve our customers' experience.
Focus, organisation skills and be proficient with data entry and CRM solutions.
Business and financial acumen for growth.
An ability to execute sales, upsell and manage client expectations.
Excellent team communication to manage client expectations and pass information on in a timely manner.
