A well-established manufacturing business based in Preston is looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment across the site. Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for both reactive and planned electrical maintenance, helping to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment

• Respond to electrical breakdowns and faults quickly and effectively

• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects across the site

• Fault finding on PLC-controlled and automated machinery

• Work closely with production teams to maximise machine availability

• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures

• Apprentice trained or qualified in Electrical Engineering (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)

• Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic skills

• Knowledge of PLC systems and automated machinery would be beneficial

• Proactive approach with a strong focus on reliability and continuous improvement
