Job Description

The Director of Women’s Services is responsible for Her Journey (domestic violence recovery program) leadership and training, as well as other related recovery and/or prevention services and outreach. The Director of Women’s Services reports to the Executive Director.


Domestic Violence Recovery Leadership

  • Build and maintain relationship with current Leaders

  • Oversee new applications

  • Address challenges that arise

  • Lead group/s


  • Oversee online training and certification

  • Plan and implement bi-annual leadership trainings


  • Attend monthly domestic violence councils in multiple counties

  • Build relationship with other DV organizations

  • Meet with counselors, pastors and church staff to promote and expand the Her Journey program and raise awareness

    Other duties

  • Helping to answering phones and office when needed.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.


    1. This position is part to full-time work, 20-40 hours a week. Hourly wages for part-time, salary for full-time with some benefits.

    2. Training in domestic violence preferred

    3. Able to maintain confidentiality of clients

    4. Able to handle simultaneous tasks and meet deadlines.

    5. Able to be professional and diplomatic

    6. Minimum of Bachelors in social services or psychology

    7. Proficient with computer software programs and online programs

    8. Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    9. Must have strong administrative skills

    10. Must hold to the Christian values that governs the work we do
