With a plan to increase stock by 5,000 homes over the next 5 years, providing more affordable housing options on a low-cost rent and sale basis, this employer is a much sought after option, offering benefits and stability alike.The Role:v  Supporting young people (16-25years) in a Key Worker role.v  Providing and updating action plans and risk assessmentsv  As Youth Development Worker you will actively be offering young people in supported accommodation encouragement to achieve dreamsv  Being part of an on site team supporting young residents with their living needsv  Ensuring young people are supported in developing life skills to be able to move into the communityv  Lead and support group activities as part of our learning program, forming a sense of community and engagement.The Candidate will need:v  Being a Youth Development Worker you will need to be driven to  find solutions in supporting young people with a range of backgroundsv  An understanding of young people’s needs and interests, allowing appropriate actions plans to be madev  A passion for providing immediate care and support for young people with safeguarding and emotional and mental health issuesv  Having a resilient and flexible nature when dealing with othersv  Being able to work under pressure while producing support plans and meeting deadlinesv  Happy to work alone or in a team environment.v  A positive, creative approach, with a can-do attitude whilst maintaining professional boundariesv  To hold a valid driving licenceSUMMARY:This Youth Development Worker role is being offered on a full time, Temporary basis Working hours to 37 a week, hour patterns between 8am-10pm.An enhanced DBS adult and child needs to be already held INTERVIEW:The client is keen to fill this role quickly so if it is of interest, don’t delay in sending your CV over to us so we can put your name forward for interview stage.
