The Royal Horseguards is a beautiful 5 star hotel overlooking the River Thames, close to The Embankment and Trafalgar Square. The hotel has 282 bedrooms, restaurant, bar and terrace area as well as exceptional banqueting facilities at one of London's most prestigious conference and banqueting venues, One Whitehall Place.

What you'll be doing

As Maintenance Manager, you will take pride in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of every area of our beautiful hotel, including its equipment, services, building, and plant. From creating a safe and welcoming environment for guests to ensuring back-of-house spaces run like clockwork, your role is central to delivering an extraordinary hospitality experience.

You'll use your leadership skills to inspire a dedicated maintenance team, ensuring every aspect of the hotel is well-maintained and exceeds guest expectations. By combining your technical expertise with an eye for detail, you'll help create a seamless experience that enhances every stay, from the smallest fix to the biggest project.

  • Leading the maintenance team, inspiring a proactive approach to keep the hotel looking and functioning at its best.
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance of all hotel areas, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal standards.
  • Managing supplier relationships and overseeing the maintenance budget to optimize costs and purchasing.
  • Playing a key role in refurbishment projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Responding swiftly to maintenance requests to minimize disruption to guest experiences.
