Business Development Manager

SALARY: £30000/annum Commission




My client is a well-established company, who primarily cover print and marketing who are looking to expand their sales team with an experienced Business Development Manager.

The role will involve covering a territory across Lancashire and Yorkshire, targeting new clients and retaining existing clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone experienced within Print or Marketing who is looking for a new challenge.

About The Role:

* Identify and target new sales opportunities

* Follow up identified leads

* Pitch and present services to prospective clients

* Research prospective clients and identify new markets

* Contact potential clients, establish decision makers and build relationships

* Arrange meetings with prospective clients to pitch for and secure business

* Attend various conferences, exhibitions and other industry events

* Put together quotations and proposals for clients

* Work alongside the Client Services Team to give clients a seamless account management service

* Ensure the CRM system is kept up to date and accurate

Essential Skills Experience

* Experience within a similar Business Development, Sales Management, Field Sales or Area Sales role is essential

* Experience within Print, Marketing or Media is desirable

* Proven track record within new business sales

* Confident to work under pressure and exceed targets

* Excellent time management and organisational skills
