Estimating Assistant

* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

* Salary: Between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Our client is a long established, highly accredited commercial landscaping contractor, delivering high-quality projects across London and the South East for over 30 years. With a team of nearing 100 professionals and a strong reputation for quality, the company collaborates with major housebuilders, developers, and commercial clients on a wide range of services, including soft landscaping, drainage, and earthworks.

We're currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Estimating Assistant to join their commercial team in Liphook. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with at least two years of estimating experience in landscaping or construction who is looking to grow their career within a professional, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain estimating systems and job trackers

* Measure and price housing and commercial landscaping projects

* Order materials and liaise with suppliers on pricing and availability

* Raise purchase orders and support office administration

* Attend site visits and meetings

* Provide occasional support on-site and in the yard

What We're Looking For:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in an estimating role (landscaping/construction)

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoDesk Design Review or Bluebeam

* Strong communication, organisation, and negotiation skills

* A proactive, team-oriented approach

* Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

* Relevant qualifications

* CSCS card and/or SMSTS certification
