This prestigious company is also the largest rolling stock manufacturer and provider in the UK and employs over 70,000 employees in 60 countries worldwide.Position Summary:This position will include the stripping down and replacing of Electrical and mechanical items on Rolling Stock unit class 185 relating to HVAC systems on the unit. You will be expected to complete Electrical and Mechanical work from written work instruction so you must be competent in this area. You'll be expected to test and inspect all replaced components. This is a Safety Critical position and is a requirement against the Service Agreement (SA). This could also include the following:* Removal and strip down of HVAC systems* Testing and troubleshooting systems* Completing modifications * Adhering to compliance and safety requirementsPerson Profile:No previous rail experience required as we will consider applicants that have worked on any of the Previous Rail experience is preferred but not essential.
