Adecco Crewe are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join our well established and reputable client based in Nantwich on a part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great team, where you can really take ownership of the role.

In this role, general duties include:

Achieving accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
Meeting accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
Confirming financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses
Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy
Maintain financial security by establishing internal controls
Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation.The successful applicant will be confident in all aspects of accounts, and must be able to take ownership of their own workload. Whilst previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, the client will consider somebody with varied accounts experience (sales / purchase ledger, general accounts, reconciliation, VAT and credit control) and who is quick to learn. Experience using Sage is preferable, and you will ideally be confident with Excel and using pivot tables.

In return, you will receive a salary of £30,000 (pro rata), 25 days holiday (pro rata), a friendly and supportive team where training is provided, and free parking on site. This is a part time office based position, working 20 hours during the week (flexibility can be provided and this role may suit someone looking for school hours).
