Shift Maintenance Engineer

Are you a time-served Maintenance Engineer with experience of a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

My client is a food manufacturer looking to recruit Engineers that have high standards and experience and experience of root cause analysis.

Location: Cheshire

Salary: circa £50k plus Overtime and Pension

The Candidate:

* Must have served a recognised Engineering apprenticeship; Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-skilled.

* NVQ Level 3 (or C&G Level 3) is a minimum expectation; HNC in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is desirable.

* Your experience must have been gained in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment, preferably Food or other FMCG manufacturing.

* You will be able to demonstrate a root cause analysis approach to fault diagnosis

The Role:

* This is a shift based role, working 12-hour shifts, providing Engineering support to a very fast-paced manufacturing facility.

* Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of manufacturing equipment and site services equipment.

* Planned maintenance tasks.

* Involvement in Continuous Improvement and Capex Projects.
