The OSP Fielder will provide detailed field notes to client OSP Engineers and CAD Drafters for the purpose of making changes, additions or deletions to telecom OSP facilities. The OSP Fielder provides support to Chickasaw Network Services, LLC. This position produces Outside Plant (OSP) CAD field notes related to buried, aerial, and underground cable systems and OSP supporting structures. Job Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Uses any tools provided for note taking purposes in the field, may include measuring tools, height tools, cameras, GIS, etc. whenever required to gather accurate notes.
Under the direction of our Program Manager or his/her designee, will travel to the project location and gather accurate field notes for submission to engineers and drafters. This would include notes on aerial facility heights and separations, guying requirements , aerial and buried safety notes including pole rot and grounding, obstructions, buried trench line, road crossings and
Works with engineers and others related to the project to ensure submissions are accurate and meet all requirements.
Gathers notes on buried, aerial, and underground cable systems and OSP supporting structures as assigned.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE**
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one (1) year’s relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience. Must be familiar with OSP standards, practices, and construction methods, and must have previous experience with telecom and OSP. Must have experience with telephone industry standards with the ability to meet or exceed business unit goals while maintaining quality standards, controlling expenses, and following company and business unit directives and practices.
CERTIFICATES / LICENSES / REGISTRATION**
