We're hiring for a media organisation with a strong educational focus. They're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations while shaping the strategic direction of the team. • Experience producing management accounts, forecasts, and financial reports
• Confident managing budgets and supporting strategic planning

THE ROLE

• Lead financial planning and management reporting
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
• Manage the budgeting process and provide analysis to senior leadership
• Oversee cash flow, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Support funding compliance and regulatory reporting (ESFA, OfS, DfE)
• Develop business cases and support investment decisions
• Manage annual audit and liaise with external auditors
• Maintain strong internal controls and risk management processes
• Lead and develop the finance team
• Oversee procurement and supplier contracts
• Communicate financial performance to non-finance colleagues

YOUR PROFILE

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA)
• Effective communicator – written & verbal
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Experienced in education, media, or regulated sectors
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and managing multiple priorities
