Shipping Coordinator

We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our award-winning manufacturing company, which produces high-quality, commercial-products for clients worldwide. As part of sustained growth, we are looking for an experienced individual to handle shipping, order processing, product planning, and customer service duties within a friendly team.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Review client orders against estimates, ensuring all finishes and prices are correct, and place orders with manufacturers.
• Acknowledge customer orders and generate all necessary invoices, packing notes, and documentation in compliance with export regulations.
• Arrange dispatch with appropriate carriers and manage the negotiation and presentation of Letters of Credit and other commercial arrangements.
• Liaise with carriers regarding customs clearance for goods.
• Provide order confirmations to clients, including anticipated delivery and installation dates.
• Respond to client emails, advising on lead times and other queries.
• Assist with shipping and produce required documentation.
• Coordinate with business locations worldwide to schedule deliveries and arrange installation.
• Contact clients post-installation for feedback.
• Participate in product knowledge training sessions.
• Attend meetings with other company functions to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role with shipping/export expertise. 
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
• Familiarity with export regulations and documentation.
• Proficiency in negotiating commercial arrangements.
• Effective communication and liaison skills for coordinating with international locations.

This role is office based so you must be located close to Wetherby and a driver due to the location.
