The Role

As a Works Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth coordination of jobs, engineers, and client communications. This is a fast-paced position where attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

* Creating and raising jobs from sales handover documentation

* Scheduling engineers and ensuring maximum utilisation of resources

* Managing engineer diaries and allocating work effectively

* Reviewing and checking job paperwork on a daily basis

* Monitoring job progress and escalating issues where required

* Chasing outstanding paperwork and overdue jobs

* Issuing approved documentation and certificates to clients

* Verifying lab reports and ensuring accurate sample bookings

* Preparing jobs for invoicing, ensuring all details are correct

* Liaising with management on client queries, missed visits, and additional charges

* Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately

* Maintaining accurate records and confirming bookings with clients

* Producing weekly and historical reports to track job completion

* Supporting the team with general administrative tasks and queries
