A leading UK multidisciplinary consultancy is expanding its dynamic Planning team in Edinburgh and is seeking an experienced Town Planner to contribute to a growing portfolio of diverse and high-impact projects.

About the Role

You'll support the delivery of a wide variety of planning applications across key sectors including residential, mixed-use developments, data centres, airports, retail, logistics, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

A major focus will be on strategic planning for renewable energy and national infrastructure, including managing submissions for Planning, S36, S37, Marine, and EIA applications.

Your Profile

Chartered Member of the RTPI (or nearing submission).
Planning experience within a consultancy or local authority (Scottish experience a bonus, but not essential).
Strong grasp of planning policy, ideally within the Scottish context.
A proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Confident problem-solver and strategic thinker.
Passion for planning, development, and environmental sustainability.
