Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Birmingham

An established, privately owned multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing M&E team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a business known for delivering complex, large-scale development and infrastructure projects across the UK. The Role
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality building services solutions across a diverse project portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

Producing electrical building services designs including calculations, specifications and drawings
Designing systems such as power, lighting, containment and life safety
Supporting projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery
Carrying out surveys and reporting on existing electrical systems
Preparing tender documentation and supporting procurement processes
Assisting with contract administration and project coordination during construction
Attending site and undertaking witnessing/commissioning activities
Collaborating closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teamsAbout You

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
Strong experience in electrical design within the built environment
Proficient with AutoCAD (Revit experience beneficial)
Working towards or already Chartered
Full UK driving licenceWhat's on Offer
