Warehouse Operative – Early Morning Shift – Uddingston, Glasgow

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative – Early Morning Shift to join our client based in Uddingston, Glasgow. This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent weekday hours, weekly pay, and long-term prospects for reliable candidates.

Please note: This role involves heavy furniture handling and is only suitable for candidates who are physically fit and have previous furniture lifting or heavy manual handling experience.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 04:00 – 08:00
• Part-time – 20 hours per week

Rates of Pay

• £15.26 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Handling and moving furniture and large household items
• Heavy manual lifting as part of daily duties
• Loading and unloading stock
• Picking items using handheld scanners
• Working efficiently to meet productivity targets
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Remaining on your feet for the duration of the shift

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Previous furniture lifting or heavy manual handling experience
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Ability to work early morning shifts
• Positive, team-focused attitude
• Own transport preferred due to start time and location

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
