Your new companyOur client located in Ipswich has experienced exciting year-on-year growth and due to internal promotion is seeking a commercially astute Accountant to join their team in the job role of Finance Manager.Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller, key duties include:- Staff management and development- Month-end and year-end reconciliation and close procedures- Assisting with management accounts preparation and analysis- Accounts payable and accounts receivable procedure management- Supporting the annual audit process- Process and procedure review, improvement and implementation- Working with finance and non-finance colleagues to investigate and resolve queriesWhat you'll need to succeedYou will be Qualified or Part-Qualified ACCA / ACA/ CIMA (close to qualifying) with management accounts experience, strong systems and IT skills (Advanced Excel) alongside a proactive approach to process and procedure improvements. Staff management experience is highly desirable.
