Major Recruitment is excited to partner with a prominent international manufacturer of Engine Cooling Systems for Off-Highway Vehicles with a large Factory in Baildon/Shipley.

Due to an increase in work load the business is looking for Welders to join the factory team on an long term ongoing basis. Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds.

As a Welder, your responsibilities will be:

* Work in a dynamic factory environment.

* Operate advanced machinery and heavy-duty industrial equipment.

* Showcase your exceptional skills in TIG or CMT Welding

* Demonstrate your expertise in manual handling

* Prioritize safety and adhere to health and safety guidelines.

* Following plans & manufacturing processes

* Handle potentially heavy items and a variety of tools.

The ideal candidate:

* Previous experience of TIG Weding or CMT Welding

* Competency in TIG Welding (CMT training available).

* Proficiency in manual handling, with the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.

* Strong work ethic, ensuring punctuality and consistent attendance.

* Effective timekeeping

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working hours:

Night shift Welder:

* 37 hours per week.

* Monday-Thursday: 10pm-6am.

* Friday: 4pm-9pm.

Alternating shifts Welder:

Week 1:

Monday-Thursday:6am-2pm ,Friday: 6am-11am

Week 2:

Monday-Thursday:2pm-10pm,Friday: 11am-4pm

Welder Pay Rate:

For the first 12 weeks training period:

£14.32/h-Alternating shifts and £15.40/h- Nights

Raising to:

£14.71/h-Alternating shifts and £15.79/h -Nights after successfull probation period!
