The 5 star COMO Metropolitan London on Old Park Lane has a fantastic dual role for an Executive Assistant/Sales and Marketing Coordinator with strong interests in hospitality, luxury brands, and sales and marketing to join our team. Key TasksThis is an integral role supporting two key departments - Sales and Marketing and Executive Office - and some of your key responsibilities will be: •Managing diaries, coordinating travel, accommodation and entertainment arrangements•Maintaining client databases to ensure that they remain up to date and in accordance with company standards.•Undertaking research projects on behalf of the Sales and Marketing team•Preparing presentation materials and completing monthly reports •Attending meetings and taking minutes for distribution as required•Handle all telephone traffic and take/forward messages as appropriate •Managing VIP, complimentary and special rate bookings •Production and preparation of collateral for client events including attending and carrying out showrounds. •Manage inventory for stationery, brochure and collateral, including stock management, ordering and purchasing•General administration including employee administration such as timesheets, holidays and expense claim forms. •Assist with the day-to-day operations of the department including ad hoc projects and reports as required. Due to the high volume of applicants, we will only respond to candidates with suitable experience.You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom to be considered for this role. •Highly varied role requiring excellent organisational skills and a natural ability to remain calm whilst juggling a number of priorities and personalities.•A great eye for detail and accuracy •Exude professionalism, friendliness, and discretion when speaking on the telephone, and in person, welcoming visitors and VIPs.•Can proficiently use all Microsoft Office applications to perform administrative tasks and to assist the Sales and Marketing team with producing collateral and preparing presentations.•IT savvy possessing the confidence and aptitude to use systems that might be unknown to you e.g. Fourth (time and attendance system) and Quark. •A team player, supportive of your colleagues and proactive in your approach to work to assist with the smooth running of both departments. •Excellent spoken and written English•Previous administration experience is required and a luxury hotel background is also advantageous.
