Location: North Anston, Rotherham. Full-time or Part-time contract available

At Mellors Care, we're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to lead engaging, meaningful activities that enrich the lives of residents at a residential care home in Rotherham.

What You'll Do:

Plan, organize, and deliver a wide range of activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities

Encourage participation and build strong relationships with residents

Coordinate events, outings, and celebrations that bring the community together

Work closely with care staff and families to support residents' wellbeing

Keep accurate records of activities and resident engagement
What We're Looking For:

A warm, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
*
Creativity and confidence in leading group and one-to-one sessions
*
A genuine interest in working with older people
*
Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt plans as needed
*
Previous experience in a similar role or setting is a plus, but not essential — we value passion and potential!
