Adore Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful, family-run business based near Chelmsford to recruit an experienced Part-Time HR Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is looking for a part-time role with flexibility. The company has built a strong reputation in the warehouse and distribution sector, and is looking for someone who can confidently support and guide their HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
* Liaise with both internal teams and external agency staffing providers
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and support regular audits
* Conduct staff inductions, appraisals, and performance reviews
* Develop and maintain training plans to support staff development
* Provide ongoing HR advice and support to management and staff
* Contribute to and lead on HR initiatives in line with business goals
Requirements:
* Proven HR experience, ideally within a warehouse or distribution environment
* Strong understanding of HR processes including recruitment, compliance, and performance management
* Confident in dealing with agency staff and managing external staffing relationships
* CIPD qualified (Level 5 or higher preferred)
* Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
* Strong communication and organisational skills
