Salary: Up to £20 per hour, depending on experience
Shift Type: Days, Monday to Friday
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30, Friday: 07:30 - 12:30

A well-established, family-run manufacturer operating within the luxury interiors and architectural hardware sector is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter to join its machining team. The business supplies high-quality, precision components to designers, architects and developers, with a strong reputation for craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The Role

This is a hands-on CNC turning position focused on programming, setting and optimising machines to produce high-end, precision components to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Program and set CNC turning machines (Mazak, XYZ and Citizen)
Interpret detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
Work closely with design and production teams to optimise manufacturability
Ensure all components meet strict quality and finish standards
Contribute to continuous improvement of machining processesEssential Requirements

Minimum 10 years' experience programming and setting CNC turning machines
Strong knowledge of metals and machining processes (particularly brass)
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
Ability to work collaboratively within a production environment
Strong work ethic and accountability for quality outputDesirable (Not Essential)

Experience using Fusion 360 or other CAM software
