Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 per annum DOE
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Perfect Personnel are currently looking for an experience Buyer to join our client's team in Redditch. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing all materials and services into the business.
The job involves the following:
* Maintaining stock levels and supporting with stock control
* Ordering materials for jobs when required
* Reviewing and negotiating the cost of materials
* Managing PO delivery dates onto ERP system
* Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing agreements with suppliers
* Maintaining the approved suppliers list
* Arranging shipping of parts from suppliers to Redditch - including from overseas
* Arranging delivery of finished goods to UK, Europe and Rest of World
Previous experience/skills required:
* 2 Years' supply chain experience
* CIPS level 2 or higher
* Knowledge of Incoterms and preparing commercial invoices
* 2 Years' experience on MRP/ERP system - ideally Epicor
* Experience with the Microsoft Office 365
